Dumverse is an on chain, 2D, turn based style, PvP adventure game. Atomic Asset holders get to play as their DumDumz in the game and gain additional in game benefits and perks. But the Dumverse is open to everyone, and we encourage those without Atomic Assets to try it out! 

Players start out in Happy Green Valley. DumDumz home, a beautiful place with a serene landscape. You will find furry friends to battle, mixed with nods at some popular memes. Using your water storage, your moves are limited on the map. So plan ahead carefully! (Water regens when your character is idle)

The game has a newly developed system called Cascade; this entails future expansions of islands in set intervals. Each cascade will contain a new island in it, enemies, armor/weapons, etc. 

It will also deposit $DUMZ to each new island's enemies, for players to conquer and reap the rewards!

On Chain aspects:

Combat - Every action and movement in the game is stored on chain. Dice rolls determining combat outcome are hosted on AO 

Atomic Assets - Atomic assets are integrated via BazAR and DumDumz Atomic Assets are used as players profiles.

Player Profiles - user profiles are created and stored on chain, linked with a user's wallet and DumDumz NFT address 

$DUMZ token - An on-chain token earned from combat, used for purchasing. The $DUMZ token can be deposited to and withdrawn from the game. Will be limited in nature. 

Gold - An in-game currency used to facilitate rewards in the game. Cannot be withdrawn from the game. Earned during combat and used for purchasing. Is unlimited in nature. 

Game state - the entire game state and all interactions on mutating the game’s state are on-chain, encouraging community expansion and interoperability with other games 

Game assets - All game assets including the entire game website itself is hosted on Arweave (upon final deployment will get an ar.io domain)

Notes to judges:

1. Normally players start with zero currency, but for the demo we have given you gold and $DUMZ in your bag and more is available in the bank vaults.

2. We also have given you an extra heart and more water on your base DumDum

3. There is a tutorial on the character creation screen section, please watch this to learn how to play Dumverse.

4. We started the creation of this at the beginning of the game jam. Due to this some of the features/buildings are not available yet.
